Hi I'm Chief Bill,
A little info on our background, triking is not what i had in mind when i started this forray into the motorcycle world. I started out on motorcycles, but after many years I thought that's what this way of life only included. I was wrong. Triking is a way of life and i was introduced into it by a friend who was riding a trike for many a year, not because he couldn't ride but because he choose to build his own machine. Being introduced to the trike world the only option in our area was to wing it alone or join B.T.W. ( Brothers of the Third Wheel), which coincidently is what I did, And that's where I met my co-founder Tom/Baldylocks who was the director at the time. After a few months of getting to know the triking world I realized there was more to it than just a ride around the block and a dinner meet. So I moved up in the chapter of B.T.W. to director and became more involved in the motorcycle events in our area.
B.T.W. is a great organization but I wanted more, after seeing how trikes were being accepted in the motorcycle world, I knew there were others like me who wanted more than an association could offer. Brotherhood is a desirable trait among free riders, not that its needed for most independents, but when an opportunity presents itself it should not be left out in the cold. So we sought out those looking for more in our world than just a social club, and gathered a few loyal brothers and formed what you see today, The first and ONLY trike club in Arizona.
Triple Threat TC is the premier Trike Club in Arizona and we are taking our walk as associate members of the ACMC. We have the same values as most MC's in the state and want to bring triking forward in the motorcycle world. While most of our members come from organizations like BTW, we are a club! We look forward to bringing in more members that thought triking was just a "just for old guys or handicaped people way of getting their knees in the breeze", to accept that trikes are motorcycles and one hell of a good ride.
