ABOUT US
We are The Triple Threat Trike Club (TTTC). TOM/BALDYLOCKS & BILL/CHIEFBILL started as a couple of trike riders belonging to Brothers of the Third Wheel Trike Association (BTW). After attending a few events held by motorcycle clubs, all belonging to the ACMC (ARIZONA COALITION of MOTORCYCLE CLUBS) we realized there was more to sharing the road than just a Sunday ride. We have rights on the road equal to everyone else and wanted to protect those rights.
Forming a club is not just finding a bunch of riders and saying, “Hey lets all wear the same patch” Alot is involved in meeting and finding riders that we felt comfortable with. Having both Brotherhood and Camaraderie for our Club is what is required. Being involved in BTW for many years we found a lot of people who have had the same desire to move up in the motorcycle world hierarchy, but many did not have the commitment or drive to immerse themselves into the culture and do what it takes. We believe we have found the right people and now have the first ever in Arizona Trike Club
HOW WE STARTED
With both TOM/BALDYLOCKS & BILL/CHIEFBILL being directors of BTW for almost 8 years they have seen a lot of members come and go, let us tell you within that organization there are a lot of great people. But it takes a select individual to want to commit himself to a cause. Our cause is to promote trikeing in the motorcycle world. We are not weekend warriors or Sunday only riders, it is a lifestyle we choose to embrace. By gathering a select group of trikers and setting our goals high within our own by-laws, we have created a trike club that is considered the premier trike club in Arizona. Identified by our 3-piece patch and supporting the premier motorcycle club in our state we have created an identity that is ours and ours alone. We started this journey in the club world many months ago by talking with the right individuals and making our intentions known. We gathered in mid July 2009 for a sit down for creation of our by-laws and patch design, with that handled on September 5th in apache junction at the ACMC meeting we presented ourselves to the board and began our 3-year walk as associate members of the ACMC.
OUR PATCH
Our patch is a 3-piece design. The upper rocker is our name TRIPLE THREAT in green bone font. The lower rocker is our area of CACTUS PATCH, which represents Arizona, and surrounding areas. Our center patch is an orange trike ridden by a skeleton. We chose the colors for the following meanings, White for our purity in the trikeing way, Green for our state representation of the cactus state and Black meaning to the death.
